There’s some talented folk down these parts, and we’re on first name terms with most of ‘em. From our ‘flavour saviours’ who we work with to season our products, to our ‘spud specialists’ who we go to for our Red Tractor assured potatoes. They all chip in, helping us produce the heartiest hand-cooked chips… ‘andsome job.
OUR APPROACH TO CHOOSING SUPPLIERS:
We aim to always source our ingredients as local to both our sites as possible. We pick ingredient suppliers and potato growers who have a passion for what they do, who grow products to the highest standards and care for the produce that they make.
Meet our taste buds
You’re just as likely to find these folks at the top of a Dartmoor tor as you are playing in the kitchen. And that’s exactly why we love ‘em. They’re the ones that capture the taste of the great Devon outdoors for the good of your chips. They all hack their own path but are united in the pursuit of natural Southwest wonders. See what they bring to the table in our product stories.
An award-winnin’ family business nestled on the edge of Dartmoor. The farm was set to work by Mark and Emily and is now run with the help of Mark’s son Hamish and daughter Anna. Eversfield Organic is a Soil Association certified organic family farm that offers grass fed, top quality, meat. But enough of us bangin’ on, you can taste their good work for yourselves when you crack open a bag of our Devon Roast Beef potato chips, or our Steak Surf & Turf Ridges.
Spoilt Pig’s award-winnin’ bacon is traditionally dry cured by hand, it’s the ultimate rasher. Only workin’ with British farmers they know and trust, they’re an RSPCA assured business, breedin’ pigs outdoors without the use of antibiotics. This is why their bacon tastes so lush… and this is why our Smoked Crispy Bacon potato chips are a cut above.
South Devon Chilli Farm
Chillies in Devon? Oh yes! Owned by Jenny and Amrit, their 10-acre farm is all about the hot stuff, from seed to sauce. They’re passionate about growin’ a vast variety, so when we needed a source of chillies that packed a punch for our Spicy Sweet Chilli potato chips, as well as the world’s hottest Carolina Reaper chillies for our Reaper Chilli and Lime Ridges, we just hot-footed it down the road.
Devon-based Quicke’s have been craftin’ greatness from our land since 1973. This family run business, owned by Mary Quicke, understand that great cheese making is an art, and they handcraft their produce using milk from the most contented grass-fed cows we’ve ever laid eyes on. Their award-winning Mature Clothbound Cheddar together with spring onions is the ultimate double act; it makes our Mature Cheddar and Onion potato chips what they are… ‘andsome!

We call it vinegar… they call it nectar. In the deepest depths of Cornwall, a small family run business produces genuine artisan products. Managed by Mark Nattrass, with son Geoff dealing with all the production, they use the best ingredients and simple, low-tech, procedures that are chemical-free. Oak matured for over a year, we have to wait for the good stuff but it’s worth it. Just try our award-winnin’ Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar potato chips to see what all the fuss is about.
